The Wissota Woofery

Pet care experience

Hi, we’re Ingrid and Jeremy. We’re 29 and 30 years old. I am originally from the Milwaukee area, but moved up here with Jeremy, back to his home town of Chippewa Falls. We have been taking care of our family dogs since we were little, and taking care of other people's dogs since high school. Our hearts are full of love for animals, especially dogs. Any dog in our care will be treated like family and with respect. We find it an honor and a real treat to have dogs in our home. ❤️ Our ranch style home is open, clean, and full of sun. We do have a fenced in yard, so the dogs are free to run around as much as they like! I am a photographer and work mainly on weekends with the occasional session during the week, but I am mostly at home doing computer work week days. Jeremy owns his business, and is usually at work, but can be flexible to let the dogs out if absolutely needed for any reason. Once we are home, we both give all of our love and time to the dogs. If it is a day that We are completely free, we will pretty much be with the dogs all of the time: walking, playing, eating, snuggling. Your dog will feel right at home, and if they have trouble being away from their owners, we’ll do our best to make them feel safe, wanted, and loved. As much as we love dogs, we do want to know any restrictions the dog may have or aggressions. I’m a smaller girl, but fit and active. Jeremy is a fit strong guy and into health, so activity is key with him and he’s able to walk the bigger babies, with me as his sidekick 😉. He has grown up with two golden retrievers at his parents house that were/are his loves, as well as helped me dog sit a handful of dogs, including my parent’s Aussiedoodle. We have a Newfoundland (birth date 3/15/2020). She absolutely loves other dogs and we love her to be socialized. She is a big girl, so if your pup is not used to or scared of big dogs, we may not be a good fit. We just welcome into our home, Roo (DOB 9/2020). We just rescued her. She’s a Shepherd Retriever Chow mix! She’s about 50lbs and energetic. She loves being outside, running, and chewing bones. She also loves to play with other dogs. Our newest addition is Titus. He’s a 5 year old Newfoundland. He’s gentle and a big lover boy. He is not neutered but we’re looking into that. He wouldn’t hurt a fly though and is a giant baby. We would be happy to have a meet and greet before hand to see if we all are a good fit! If you have any additional questions please let me know!

Ingrid was fantastic! she watched our pup for us on our wedding day and brought her over the venue for photos! She was so friendly and definitely helped with the stress that we had. Would definitely recommend her for boarding and dog watching.

Ingrid and her family were very accommodating and wonderful to deal with! We had a “meet and greet” scheduled within a day of initial contact. It was clear within minutes that it was a great fit. We received pictures and check ins during her 1st stay. We will definitely be scheduling more visits when we need to leave and Annie can’t come with us. We are so grateful to have found Ingrid!

Ingrid was very accommodating helping us out last minute by watching my dog for 2 nights. She was super flexible with drop off and pick up times and sent updates with pictures throughout the day. They have a nice fenced in backyard which im sure im dog loved since she enjoys being outside. I do not have anything negative to say and would definently recommend

Was a great stay for our dog, Brennan. Ingrid sent pictures of our dog interacting with their dog, Nala, and relaxing together. The two dogs got along great even though Nala was an active puppy and our dog was more mellow. Ingrid was also understanding when we were later than expected to pick up our dog. Would definitely go back again when in town.

In the morning we let everyone out for potty, then feed them and some play time. During the day, there will be plenty of potty breaks and okay time outside with some naps and time to settle in between. Night time, we feed them and do same thing as morning. One last potty before bed.
