We are a retired couple who are without a dog for the first time in many years, since our (fifth) schnauzer Max crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We're left with our two mature cats, Ginger and Heidi. We live in a quiet, seniors-only apartment complex. I (Bev) am a volunteer with the no-kill pet rescue facility Friends For Life.
We have lots of time and love to devote to your furry treasure. We will care for him as though he is ours and he will not be left alone. As long as we have a boarder in our apartment, one or both of us will be here. Your dog will be walked for exercise and potty breaks frequently, at which time he can check (and respond to) his pee-mail without being rushed. We do not book dogs in our home from two different families at once.
We are limited to one small dog in our apartment complex, but have no problem working with multiples or with larger dogs in your home. Advantages to in-home care include 1) your dogs are in familiar surroundings and 2) your home is not left unattended while you're away.
We also care for cats in your home. The rate is the same as for dogs, and a discount may be given for multiple cats.
We are conveniently located about 3 miles east of U.S.59/I-69 and within 15 minutes of IAH.
The rates listed for overnight boarding in our home or overnight sitting in your home, as well as day care, are per dog. These figures may vary up or down, depending on the size of the dog, the hours required, holidays, etc. Custom quotes can be provided prior to any commitment by you or us.
Please be aware that our calendar tends to fill up pretty quickly from April through December, then we have about a three-month lull. You're more likely to get the time slot you need by booking sooner rather than later.
PLEASE NOTE: Dogs must be completely housebroken, and free of fleas and ticks.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our page. We look forward to working with you.
