My wife and I lost our latest dog, 6 months ago, at the age of 14. During that time, we had two wheaten terriers and Felix, our cat. Prior to that “Olive” our princess, a medium size standard schnauzer for 13 years.
We have always had dogs and cats in our lives and houses. In fact, we have chosen our latest house location, (Riverdale – Logan and Danforth avenue) because it was near a park for our furry companions. Our friends use to tell us that our house belonged to our dogs. Our home is very convenient for pets. Tiles and area rugs on the floors in order to easily clean up, in case of accidents if they happen. The kitchen is equipped with a “doggy door” should your dog be use to it. Our kitchen is set in a way that we have a built-in grooming table. Our backyard has been planned for our dogs and is of medium size. All fenced in and locked from the outside.
Our dogs’ playground… Withrow Park, a 3 minute walk from us. This park has an “off Leach area” that is totally fenced and always has many buddies to run and play with. If your pet is up to it, of course.
Being a retired couple, we are travelling twice a year and, for this reason, we decided not to have another dog of our own. We sure miss our animals and want to love and care for our best companions.
Our pets have always slept in our bedroom and been taken on car rides, when doing errands.
We know how stressful it is when going on Holidays or business trips, and having to leave our pets behind while away.
Having your pet on vacation at our place, is peace of mind :)
