Pet care experience
6ft locked fenced yard and multiple gated areas in our house for your pets comfort, safety, and happiness! We recently also added a ramp and separate fenced area in our yard to keep pets apart if needed. My family has always had pets. I personally have 2 adopted dogs, Doberman and Labrador mixes, and they have lived with me for 14 years. We also now have 3 cats! I currently work full time with special needs kids and their families. For years I have watched my friend's and family member's pets for free! I will be happy to provide a list of references. I have traveled quite a bit and understand the value of having a reliable pet sitter that can customize services. I am happy to send daily updates and photos (I love it when my sitter's do this!) or not, based on what you desire. I am transitioning out of Social Work as I have been doing it for 20+ years and am feeling a little burnt out. I am following my dream of working with pets and have started my own business (Fur Star Pet Care) and am a member of Pet Sitters Associates, LLC and am Insured for Bodily Injury or Property Damage. In addition to animals, I love gardening. I'm very organized, reliable, neat and clean. I will be happy to also collect your mail, water your plants, turn on and off lights, open and close blinds, and of course keep your home as tidy as I find it! If you have gardening or organizational/cleaning tasks you'd like to add on to the pet/house sitting service, I am open to all possibilities. Jeanette was an absolute joy to meet and have her take care of my fur babies. Finding someone that you trust who you know will make sure your babies are taken care of is hard, but not with some like Jeanette. She loves animals and takes superior care of your pets. I was so pleased with her, that I would recommend her to everyone and definitely hire her again. You will not be disappointed.
Argo had Awesome time during his stay with Jeanette. We got plenty pictures and video clips of Argo Everyday. Argo had company of other dogs and huge backyard with fence to play. Jeanette is very detail oriented in getting information about pets diet, habits and special needs and she writes everything down to ensure our pet is attended properly. Needless go say if I need boarding for Argo I will reach Jeanette. thank you! Soo much.
Jeanette was a fabulous hostess during my girls' stay with her. She snuggled with my little dogs and treated them like they were part of the family. Her home has a nice backyard and many different areas where your dog can go and be their most comfortable. She even sent them home with some doggie clothes, since she knew they love being warm. She is an experienced pet care professional and I appreciated her attention to detail while she asked questions to get to know my girls before their stay (even asking where their favorite spot to be petted is!). Would definitely recommend.
After I read Jeanette'Ad & reviews, I was sure she was the one I wanted Kadie. After meeting her, I was definitely sure that Kadie would be loved & well cared for while I wad away. If I ever need boarding for Kadie again , it will br witj Jeanette, if she is avsilable.

I have an intake sheet that I complete for each pet for whom I will be sitting. I will always come visit you and your pet(s) before sitting so that we are all comfortable with the arrangement and information exchange. If you wish that I stay the night in your home, there is a surcharge of $50 per night. Otherwise booking a night rate includes 3 well timed 30 minute visits per day. They may be longer, but I guarantee at least 30 minutes each visit, my travel time to and from is of course not included in this 30 minutes nor is mileage billed. We can discuss your needs at our meet and greet; please allow up to a hour for the free initial appointment. I like to be very thorough as I'm passionate about pets and providing the excellent care you need!
A typical day
I will walk your dog around your home in areas that you suggest. My insurance does not allow me to take pets to a dog park or have them off leash.
