I live in a big house in a very nice Solana Beach neighborhood. I am almost always at home. I can walk your dog around my suburban neighborhood, and I have lots of exercise opportunities available right here in my home.
If you walk through my front door and walk 40 feet, you will travel over a wood floor and arrive at the back door. I like to use this area for playing fetch (see pic). The dog doesn't get dirty--and they have so much fun sliding around on the floor and rugs.
I like to sit on my patio, and this is a great time for your pup to check out its new surroundings while I keep a close eye on it. My backyard is very dog friendly. It is a great big enclosed place for dogs to snoop around, chase or be chased, etc. Both landscape and dogs are free from any damage :)
If your dog does not have special sleeping specifications, it will most likely sleep on my bed or right below it.
My Housemate/best friend, Michael, and I are both volunteers at Rancho Coastal Humane Society. I am a certified dog companion and level one dog handler. Michael volunteers with the cats--yet, whenever I have a little dog here at the house, he can't resist making friends with it.
