I was always the biggest fan of dogs. Their unconditional love always impresses me. Since I was a child I always wanted to have a dog. Little did I know the day would come when my sister would buy a dog and ‘sneak’ it into our house. I’m saying she sneaked him in because my mom is a cleanliness freak, and that was a reason why she wouldn’t want us to have a dog. It took her just about an hour to fell in love with our Milo. And there is where our love story begins. By that I mean lots of joy, laughter, happiness, dirt, cleaning, teaching, learning and loving. The biggest mistake you can do as an owner is to lock your dog inside and separate him from the nature. That’s why I’m the biggest believer that in order for a dog to be healthy and happy, he needs at least two long outdoor walks into the nature per day. I always say that my dog is my happiness on the leash. I see walking dogs as a time well spent and not as an obligation. I love playing with them and I love teaching them new tricks, especially because I’m always impressed by how smart they are. Since I moved to LA, I ‘left’ our family dog back home with my family. I can easily say that life without a dog is like a rainbow losing its colours; and taking care of dogs while I’m away from home, brings colours back to my life.
