I live in South Florida & North Carolina and prefer being outside so much. Having my dog allows me to be out more and I take her everywhere that is animal friendly. My dog also allows me to meet more people as they love to say stop & say hello wherever we are. I have taken care of many pets as I do personal organization work often. Many homeowners have trusted me with taking their pets home when needed or coming on a regular basis to walk, feed, stay with their pets. I even travel pets for my clients. I have a regular client that I fly south Florida to Montana at least three times a year and back with their sweet dog Mick Jagger a Havanese that is one of my best friends😜 I work with actors, online and manage a studio in South Florida so most of my work is on the computer & phone which allows me to be outside & set my own hours. I can only board in emergency situations or for a short period of time and prefer pet sitting in your home as I currently do not have a yard where I live in South Florida. I tend to walk the dogs more and this way, I get to go on hikes nearby as an excuse :) I take a minimum of one walk a day with my own dog when she’s with me but would welcome more time outside!
