Chrissy and I have been involved with a greyhound rescue group called Greyhounds Only(Illinois) for over 3 years now. We have fostered 5 greyhounds and sat for a couple other greyhound owners. We were involved in other aspects of the rescue effort such as processing new rescues and analyzing new rescues. We know the breed well and love to help them before they find a furever home and after they've found their new family.
We'd like to stick to greyhounds only for boarding and daycare but will consider other breeds who might be brothers or sisters of our guest. This is only because we know the breed better than any other breed and our greyhounds love to hang out with other greyhounds.
Our home is in a great neighborhood and your greyhounds will love being with our greyhounds, Bo and Toffey. We also have a smaller dog, Molly, who is a dachshund mix and weighs a little over 20 lbs. She is very good with them and might even think she is one sometimes.
We don't have a fully fenced yard yet so we would walk yours on leash in the yard for some of their potty breaks.
I also take ours to Anderson Park a couple times a week, so if you like and your dog is good at a dog park, we can do that too.
We don't have kids or any other pets but we do have lot's of love to give to your greyhounds!! Plenty of toys to play with and many dog beds scattered throughout the house so they will be comfortable.
We have a couple dog pen fences to block off sections of the house for feeding and sleeping. Ours sleep in our bedroom which is close to the main living area and yours will be very comfy right outside our bedroom door.
