About Sarah

Hi and welcome!

I am Sarah and have had dogs my whole life! My father grew up on a farm in California, so I have always known animals and cannot imagine my life without them.

I work from home, so there will be constant love and play for your pup(s).
I have fostered dogs and through that have become an even more confident, capable and loving dog handler. I love having a second and even third pooch around. Our medium doodle, Butters, loves it too! We have a policy of only taking in one family’s dog(gies) at a time, so, yours would be the only additional animal in our home and will therefore get tons of care and attention.

I have ample outdoor space with tons of options to run and romp--including a fenced in front AND backyard. I have hard wood floors and dog-friendly furniture, and am minutes away from two parks.

While you are away, I am always available by phone, text, and e-mail & am delighted to send you photos and updates on how your best buddy is doing! I can even send video if you’d like!

Hope to meet you and your furry friends soon! All the best!

Sarah was very accommodating for a last minute reservation. She allowed a viewing of her residence before I committed to her services. She was prompt, friendly, and stayed in regular communication while I was away.
I'm so, so happy I left my babygirl with Sarah and her husband on my last vacation. She sent photos everyday to keep me updated on how Coco was doing which was great. They have an AMAZING home with lots of land for the dogs to run around. Her dog is too cute and seemed to get along with Coco wonderfully, which was a concern for me since I adopted her from the shelter and she can be nervous around other dogs. I would absolutely recommend them and hopefully Coco will be able to stay with them next time I leave town. The only little problem is finding parking in the neighborhood, it's a little crowded (but where isn't it crowded in LA?). Highly recommend her!!
Sarah and Tuck are fantastic! They ran or hiked our Zanzibar every single day he was there. They sent numerous photos and kept us updated the entire time. We love that they only take on one pup at a time, and how much time they spend. It's a relief that they can keep our attention-loving dog happy :)
My boys had a great experience with Sarah! I am always concerned about leaving them because they don't always get along with other dogs, so I'm concerned about the caretaker having to deal with that, both with dogs in their home and while walking. No problems here! Sarah's Hollywood Hills oasis was so isolated that the likelihood of seeing another dog is slim. And her own dog, Butters, I don't know why but one of my dogs ALWAYS growls and snaps at other dogs when he meets them, but he loved Butters from the second he met her! Sarah and her husband Tucker have a great little place in the hills (but VERY accessible from both Cahuenga and La Brea) on a "walk/stair" street.

They have a wrap-around porch, and a little "dog park" area behind their house. there are a number of steps down to their house, which are fine, but the steps down behind their house are really steep, so I asked her to carry my 10lb dog who has a tricky knee. There is also a little park area where no one goes just down the street from her. This is a great place to go if you are concerned about your dogs meeting others. On the other hand, she's also close to Runyon if you DO want more doggy activity that would be no problem. I would only say if you have dogs that might have trouble with a lot of steps (senior dogs, or dogs with bad legs) then this might not be the place for you. My 17lb dog had no problem with the steps. My 10lb was fine with it, they were just a little steep for him.

She sent me text updates and photos throughout, and I could see how happy they were. It was a really great experience.
