Home away from home with a dog loving family!
Pet care experience
We would love to have your dog come for a sleeprover with us! We have a 2.5 year old cuddly boxer/lab, his playful 6 month old golden retriever brother and their dog loving humans live here. We both work from home & have very flexible schedules. The dogs have their own dog door and good sized yard (entirely fenced in) for playing. When they are not being walked they are running around in circles in our back yard. Dogs are welcome upstairs and downstairs as long as they are house trained. Tiger and Sarge and very playful but relatively calm (for their ages) and also love to cuddle. They get along with all dogs. We enjoy family outings to James Island dog park, Kiawah and Sullivan's Island beaches and our nearby running trail. Your dog will love the activities with our family, and will feel right at home!

I was nervous about leaving my dogs with people we didn't know for the first time. However, once I met Mike and Melody (and Tiger and Sarge), my mind was quickly put at ease. They were kind, easy going people. You can tell they love their dogs and they took excellent care of mine while I was away. Highly recommend this family.
Melody is a great lover of dogs. I am impressed with the way that she cares about their health and development needs. Her two dogs are lovely. They are very relaxed and sociable, and also inquisitive and a pleasure to be around. She would take great care of anyone's dogs.

As long as your dog is social and comfortable with big dogs and isn't a huge barker (Tiger barks some, some a bit is fine) then they should fit in well
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We have a running trail by our house we like to take the dogs on as well as some fields we go to run around and play ball games. We also enjoy going to James Island county park where their socialize and swim. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Thats up to them! Usually Tiger sleeps in the bed with us or on the sofa, Sarge sleeps on a dog bed in our bedroom. So whatever they're used to at home works for us. Time I'll spend with your dog Plenty! Usually even when we're working the dogs are around taking naps at our feet or playing in the next door or the yard.. we leave it up to them and take lots of breaks for playtime.
