I live in a spacious one-story home in the Brentwood neighborhood in North Raleigh. The house has a good-sized fenced-in yard that offers lots of shade and space to roam! The neighborhood itself is great for walking, and I typically take my own dog out for two long walks a day. If your dog is in need of more exercise than my senior pup, I am always looking for a good running partner!
I have always had animals in my life in some capacity (dogs, cats, horses, fish - even mice!), so I’m comfortable with all types of pets and breeds. Outside of having dogs and cats of my own, I have experience fostering, volunteering in animal shelters, and working as a pet sitter for friends and family. I am comfortable administering medication (both oral and injections). I typically let my dog roam free throughout the house when I’m gone, but I also have two kennels (one large, one medium) and a baby gate if your dog needs his own space.
I currently work full-time as a clinical social worker, primarily working with children and families. I have a lot of flexibility within my job, and I am always willing to make accommodations for your pet to the best of my ability! I find so much personal value in spending time with animals, and I love coming home after work and throwing the ball and/or snuggling with my pup on the couch. The more, the merrier!
Though I live in Raleigh, I work in Durham and Orange County. If you are looking for pet care in either area, I am happy to work with you (as long as my schedule allows it). Feel free to message with any questions you may have. I would love the opportunity to offer your pet a safe, loving home and a little peace of mind for you while you’re away!
