About Lindsey

10 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I live in a spacious one-story home in the Brentwood neighborhood in North Raleigh. The house has a good-sized fenced-in yard that offers lots of shade and space to roam! The neighborhood itself is great for walking, and I typically take my own dog out for two long walks a day. If your dog is in need of more exercise than my senior pup, I am always looking for a good running partner!

I have always had animals in my life in some capacity (dogs, cats, horses, fish - even mice!), so I’m comfortable with all types of pets and breeds. Outside of having dogs and cats of my own, I have experience fostering, volunteering in animal shelters, and working as a pet sitter for friends and family. I am comfortable administering medication (both oral and injections). I typically let my dog roam free throughout the house when I’m gone, but I also have two kennels (one large, one medium) and a baby gate if your dog needs his own space.

I currently work full-time as a clinical social worker, primarily working with children and families. I have a lot of flexibility within my job, and I am always willing to make accommodations for your pet to the best of my ability! I find so much personal value in spending time with animals, and I love coming home after work and throwing the ball and/or snuggling with my pup on the couch. The more, the merrier!

Though I live in Raleigh, I work in Durham and Orange County. If you are looking for pet care in either area, I am happy to work with you (as long as my schedule allows it). Feel free to message with any questions you may have. I would love the opportunity to offer your pet a safe, loving home and a little peace of mind for you while you’re away!

Great planning and familiarization, she really took the time to understand our needs, and did very well. We hope to work with Lindsey again at some point!
This was the first time I've used a house sitter with my dog, so I was nervous about it. After meeting Lindsey I was definitely put at ease. She did an amazing job taking care of my special needs pup. She sent regular updates and provided detailed notes for me on how the dog did while I was gone. Normally my pup is anxious and uneasy when around new people, but I got home to a dog that is acting like I never left. For that, thanks Lindsey!
She did such a good job that I've already booked her for my next trip out of town as well.
