Pet care experience
For as long as I can remember, we’ve had pets in my house. From nursing baby squirrels, to my mother’s dachshund having puppies, raising ferrets. The list goes on. I’m happy to only be a dog owner now. I have volunteered at my local shelter for the past 15 years walking dogs and sitting with them. I was a foster mom for the past 4 years. I’m a certified level three dog handler. I have experience with shy and fearful dogs as well..

Please let me know if your dog has any special dietary restrictions or behavior problems. If they tend to pull or try to escape leashes, that would be nice to know. Let me know what basic command they know.
A typical day
I like to do enrichment activities with my dog. We stuff bones, play outback, go on multiple walks. My favorite thing to do with Layla is to cuddle up with a book on the couch. Sometimes I read to her, and I’m not sure if she likes it or not. Haha

Availability
I currently work a full-time remote position here in Fort Worth. I could be available for lunchtime walks as long as it’s close to my house. I’m also available for evening, check-in or weekend Care.
