Hi! I’m Shanell, a dedicated entrepreneur with a profound love for dogs and an impressive professional journey. The genesis of my business lies in my early adult years when I became a foster parent for dogs rescued from high-kill animal shelters and soon adopted two of my very first canine companions of my own. This ignited my deep passion for working with dogs. Shortly after, I began working at a no-kennel dog boarding facility in Carthage, TN and a doggie daycare center in Nashville, TN. These experiences inspired me to envision a unique dog care experience that would redefine the standard of dog boarding and daycare. Canine County is dedicated to providing a uniquely superior experience for dogs and their owners. My mission is to reinvent the standard of care with a community governed through a dog’s eye, while maintaining complete transparency with the owners. I am professionally trained in dog-play prevention and intervention, as well as canine CPR and first aid. I am committed to fostering a rewarding and nurturing environment that encourages continuous learning and growth. Canine County is a society where dogs rule.
