My dog has separation issues and usually stays with family; She does not do well with kenneling. Claire took the time to meet her twice prior to her stay, walked her many times, loved on her, and kept her in her normal routine which made for a very pleasant experience for all of us. Her pictures and updates were greatly appreciated. I liked that she takes only one dog at a time for that eliminated other problematic dog issues that could exist. I would use her again should the need arise and would highly recommend Claire as a host.

We wanted to bring our pup with us to Blowing Rock, but we could not get a dog friendly room at our hotel. The night before our trip, I found dogvacay and thought Id send Claire a message (assuming she would not respond in time given the very short notice). She responded almost immediatebly and was extremely accomodating. We were able to drop Winston off at night and pick him up in the morning so we could take him hiking. We ended up having a friend in the wedding party with a dog friendly room so he stayed with us the second night, but Claire brought all of Winston's belongings back to us at the hotel just to save us some time and effort. We had a great experience and Winston was so happy to be able to tag along in the mountains instead of being stuck in the city all weekend.
