We left our Maggie with Helen overnight to see if she would be a fit for us to leave for a week after Christmas. We had warned Helen that Maggie frightens easily and when she does, she tries to escape from her harness by squeezing out. Helen sent her husband out that night, who we did not meet or get toexplain this to. He took Maggie outt to use the bathroom, and communication is not clear about what happened next but Maggie got scared and squeezed out off the harness. We lost our Maggie in an area that was miles away from her home and she had never been to this area, plus that weekend was the coldest it had been so far. Temps were down in the low 30's and high 20's. By the grace of God we found Maggie 6 days later! We are blessed by the Rover support team and all they did to help us find Maggie. Please do not use Helen. She should have been caring for my dog, not her husband, and they should have followed instructions on how to hold Maggie when taking her out. I do not want to be mean about this and I'm no longer angry, I just want people to be aware that she is not responsible.

I can't say enough nice things about Helen. She enthusiastically took our week long reservation the evening before (we were a little last minute...) and worked with us so we could drop our pup off early the next morning. She was in contact with us while we were gone, and even sent us a video of our guy playing around her home. When we picked up our pup he was happy and it seemed like he had a great time. We will definitely be asking Helen to watch our pup again!
