My name is Heather, and I have grown up with a dog around the house for as long as I remember. I have experience with all types of breeds, but I currently own a sheltie. Having recently moved away from home, I find myself really missing having a furry friend around the house.
Something that has always been important to me is having a place where my dog can stay and feel used to her routine, as she has a few issues with separation anxiety.
I am available to provide a loving home for any pet that stays here. This residence is senior dog friendly, as we do not mind carrying any dog up or down the short flight of stairs to get in and out of the house, and otherwise your dog is welcome to stay on the main level, with their own room.
A typical day would start as soon as your dog wakes up, with a short walk to the nearby park, and a bit of time to run around. Depending on the class schedule of the housemates at the time, we would either be off to campus or able to spend time at home. A pet would not spend any more than 4 hours alone at one time.
At the end of the day, your pet would go on another walk or run, depending on their activity level, then relax before bed.
Any necessities such as taking medication will be cared for as required.
