Hawai'i raised me with love for ALL!
I have so much love and time to give to these dogs! I miss my French Bulldog, Nizzo, so much. I wasn't able to bring him with me when I moved from Hawai'i to NYC for school, so I see this as the best opportunity to foster the strong relationships I feel I get to build with dogs, my favorite animals. I have recently boarded with the Rover service, and had such a great experience, however, there weren't as many boarding opportunities available.
I live in a studio apartment in the East Village with a private courtyard/garden. This space is perfect for dogs to use the bathroom, play around, and just hang out. I study Contextualized Sociology (applied in Education, Policy, Film, and Business) at NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study; have an extremely light class schedule, and spend most of my free time working on film projects (either editing shorts or writing my feature film screenplay) at home or at a park. Having a dog(s) with me by my side not only helps inspire creativity, but gives me a great companion to hang out with. I especially love puppies! I'm very patient, yet assertive with them, and follow owner's instruction very closely; as I understand how crucial this time in a dog's development is.
Having been born and raised in Hawai'i, I've grown to appreciate, love, and respect all aspects of this life, especially the lives of animals. I hold myself to a high standard of dog care and am fully committed to ensuring that every dog leaves me wagging their tail, with a smile.
