My family and I truly love our Rover guests! I am a middle school instructional coach who grew up with beloved dogs of all sizes, from English Pointers to Pugs. My husband, Dana, works largely from home, so your pups will have regular company. We believe that our pets are members of our family, and treat them as such. We have one small, friendly, mixed breed dog who loves to play with other dogs. We also have a standard poodle-lab mix who is playful, but sweet and submissive to other dogs. We take our dogs Winnie and Grimm, with our guest dogs, on walks on the trails near our house every evening. We board just three guests at a time, and strive to give our guests an at-home, instead of “boarding” experience. The routines of your home will be honored at ours! Additionally, our guests have access to a large and fully fenced yard accessible through an extra-large dog door. Guests can choose where they’d like to be. All of our pets are on flea control meds and fully vaccinated. Your dogs will be cuddled, loved, played with....and will return to you happy! I work full time during the calendar school year, but my husband Dana is a carpenter who spends a lot of time at home working in the garage. Occasionally he has to work on site, but he is home more than half of the week. I have a secure yard and two friendly dogs to keep your dog company. We are cautious with exterior doors and believe in positive reinforcement. Your pups will only board with other guests whom I have met and know get along well with other friends. Additionally, I only board three dogs at a time, and strive to keep a calm right-at-home environment.
