Pet care experience
Hi, My name's Kat and it's my pleasure to spend time with animals. I also love to travel I cannot have a mini farm just yet, but I have taken care of many animals in the recent past. I used to have couple of cats when living in Europe. I have an experience with various breeds of dogs and also various characters. I've been volunteering for a dog shelter, fostering and training. I had to pause on rover services due to my busy work/ life style, but now I have a bit more time on hands I would love to get back to it. Looking forward to meet you and your fluffy pals.

Kate was fantastic and very comfortable with Henry right from the moment she met him. I felt confident having her stay in my home and she provided me with updates while I was away to let me know how things were going. I will respect your home set up as if it was my house. For safety reasons I walk the dog on leash in the city streets, but if I gain the dog's trust and you are comfortable with it I love to get them off leash in the park or beach so they can fully enjoy the environment and the freedom of the movement. This is great to not only exercise the dog but also calm his mind. I always carry treats in my pocket to train the recall.

A typical day
I enjoy the great outdoors, but I understand not every day can be a full day out. Vancouver has plenty of fun parks and beaches to explore. I quite often like to venture out to Spanish banks dog beach or Pacific Spirit park. If you and your dog are up for it, I would love to take them hiking outside the city.

Availability
I currently work in production in visual effects industry from home, occasionally going to the studio, but that is like once a month or so. My job is 9-6 with a lunch break between 1-2. I can be flexible with the timing on some days, but mostly stick to the schedule with short breaks in between.
