30 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hello and welcome to Happy Tails on Trails***, fun Holidays for your pups and peace of mind for you!

Your pup's vacation with me includes a daily hike/walk and loving, caring attention 24/7 in a high quality and low-stress environment.

I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs. I love all breeds and sizes of dogs and will host any pup that is neutered or spayed. I do not have a resident pup and I host a maximum of 3 dogs at a time (during some Holidays); my preference is 2. I am responsible mature individual and I lead a healthy lifestyle. My work is mostly in my home office which gives me a lot of flexibility and the ability to give individualized attention to your pups. Since there are no children in the house, 100% of my attention goes to your furry kids.

My single story, comfortable home with a nice clean backyard, a shaded patio and secured fences is a sweet and peaceful haven for your furry friends. The pups that stay with me are free to come in and out of the house all day.

I love to hike especially in canine company; one of the great reasons that I host pups outside of my day work as a franchise business consultant. I like their companionship and how they are such awesome motivators to get out us of the office. My go-to hiking trail is Heinz Park less than 5 minutes from my home, in Los Gatos and I am there in the morning or in the evening. Sometimes, if your pup is not up to an intense hike up and down the hills, we might just stroll the neighborhood or go to Vasona Park where it is paved and flat. For great running and playing on grassy grounds off leash we might go to one of the nearby schools. Weather permitting and of course if your pup is up for it, we'll enjoy an adventure at the dog beach near Santa-Cruz on Sunday.

When we are not hiking, or playing ball during my breaks, your doggy will most likely take a snooze in my office while I work. Even though the entire house and yard is at their disposal, pups ultimately end up in my office.

If you would like your furry baby to greatly enjoy his/her vacation, and plenty of love while you enjoy yours, let's meet.

I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

Patricia was so good before and especially during our dog's stay. Pics and videos, walks and play time. Will use her again.
Patricia was wonderful! Our pups were cared for well, and she walked them numerous times. One of our dogs was really nervous, and she took extra care with him. She sent us photos, and did an exceptional job! We would highly recommend her, and hope to use her again when the need arises!
Patricia is amazing! She kept me updated throughout the weekend as well as sent many pictures! My dog had an amazing time and can't wait to go back on vacay with her again!
Our dog enjoyed vacaying with Patricia. He returned home healthy, happy and tired from all of the attention and walks.
Having Patricia take care of our two labs was the best pet vacay experience ever!! Every day, we received pictures of all of the fun things the dogs were doing, from the beach, to hikes in the woods, to playing fetch at the local school yards, etc.. The dogs were so happy in every picture, and it made us not worry about them while we were away. They had an amazing time, and we knew they were in excellent and caring hands. While we don't like leaving our pets, leaving them with Patricia takes away any concern, we know they will be loved while we are away. I highly recommend her services.
I'm not sure Lola wanted to come home she had such great fun and car with Patricia.
I couldn't be happier with Patricia's care of my dog Bella. Bella is a 70 pound German Shorthair Pointer who loves the outdoors and does not do well in normal kennels. She thrived under Patricia's care, got plenty of outdoor activity and she immediately felt that she was in a home with a loving family. Patricia was also great about sending periodic pictures and videos to assure Bella's nervous parents that she was doing well while we were away.

Our dog was so happy with Patricia! We picked him up and he seemed like he really was on a doggie play vacation. We will definitely book with her again!
Patricia is a responsible, caring and nurturing pet sitter. She cared for my 2 small dogs, who I consider my children. Patricia did a great job, was very attentive and I appreciated the daily photo and update.
Patricia is patient, kind and considerate. I am so grateful my dogs were well cared for.
I would not hesitate to use Patricia in the future.
Thank you for the great care and peace of mind Patricia.
Patricia was an amazing caretaker for our Amber while we were on vacation out of the country! She took her on lots of walks and outings, and often sent pictures! We will use her again!
Patricia was an amazing host! I felt very comfortable leaving our dog in her care. After our meet and greet, he was very excited to return to her home for a stay. We received lots of pictures and it was easy to see that he was having a great time. A wonderful experience!
Patricia has watched Tubby a couple of times now. I always get updates and fun photos. I know Tubby enjoys his time there and that she's very responsible with him.

He requires shots twice daily and she is very comfortable administering them. He's always worn out when we get him home, a sure sign of a great week!
Patricia was wonderful and loving with my Amber, and gave her lots of attention, walks and visits to the park! I'm planning to use her again for my upcoming vacation, and am happy to have found her! It's nice to have someone who you know will take care of our special family member!
Patricia looked after my two old sweeties, Sky and Terra, while we were out of town on a family vacation. They couldn't have been cared for better. Thank you, Patricia!
Just love how well Sebastian is treated when in Patricia's care! She treats him like he was her own, gives him lots of love and attention and gets him out with morning runs and this time a trip to the beach. He loves it and so do we.
Jeter loves staying with Patricia and he always comes home having had a great time running around and playing in her backyard or trying to sneak in cuddles. She puts our minds at ease when we have to leave him. A wonderful sitter!
It's always easy to leave Jeter with Patricia - he loves her home and she's very welcoming and easy to communicate with.
Jeter loves staying with Patricia and she is our top choice for sitters!
This is the second time Patricia has looked after our older dog. She's great with him- loads of attention and care. Last time she rubbed coconut oil on his nose every day! Sam loves her!
Patricia is great with Sebastian and he loves hanging out in her office, wandering through her garden and taking those great hikes. So happy we found you!!
We have a pup with some Special Needs and Patricia handles and manages everything perfectly. She never makes us feel like our girl is a burden or extra work. She is patient and kind but also well versed on dog behavior and management. She also hikes with her- which is awesome. Best part is... Tuesday is always happy to go for her stay and exhausted when we pick her up! Can't ask for more then that!
Very clean and comfortable home, caring and detailed and active care taker, we are very happy to leave our dog to Patricia.
Patricia is FANTASTIC! And Ginger adores her ;)
Patricia was fantastic! She communicated very well. From the prompt response to my last minute need through sending me pictures and comments every day about Ginger's stay. I needed a one day extension and Patricia was not only able to accomodate, but she responded quickly which was a great help.

Patricia took some time to interview me and gather notes on Ginger's history and needs. I felt it was a very professional and well done 'intake'.

Ginger received great care and it showed in the pictures and her demeanor when I picked her up. She and Patricia had a swell time together and I'm truly grateful. I hope Patricia is available for my future needs.

DogVacay seems an effective and useful tool. I'll be using that again too!
Our first time with Patricia and it was excellent! She quickly got Sebastian comfortable and he was loving the daily hikes. The frequent updates and photos told us we had made a great choice. We're definitely happy, so is Sebastian and we'll be bringing him back again.
I loved staying with Patricia. She is very kind and loving and she let me sleep all day long. She did take me for a walk, but was kind enough to not make it too long since I'm older now and get tired. I would really like to stay with Patricia again. She even had a few other doggie friends come to stay while I was there, and we all got along just great. Thanks Patricia, your friend Snickers (age 16)
Patricia took great care of Gabe! He came home happy, healthy, and tired. He needs meds twice a day and she was able to make sure he got them on schedule.
Right from our initial meeting, we felt very comfortable leaving our dog, Mocha with Patricia. Mocha spent 6 days/nights with Patricia and seemed to adjust well. We received daily text updates from Patricia which helped reassure us that Mocha was safe and happy. We would definitely use Patricia again!
We felt really comfortable leaving the dogs with Patricia, as they were obviously happy in her home. They remembered her from the meet-and-greet and went in happily.

She was great about sending us photos and updates while we were away, and friends remarked that they had seen them out walking.

She responds quickly whenever I have contacted her, and is a pleasure to deal with.

We have already booked again.
Myka loved Patricia!! She got plenty of exercise, which our pup needs. She also had other dogs to play with! Thanks Patricia!
My dog, Chelsea likes Patricia. She brought her out for hiking and playing. Patricia is a very responsible dog sitter. I will send my Chelsea to her again in case my family has a trip later.
Patricia is an excellent care giver. She made Skipper feel at home. Also took him out to the park to play. Also sent us photos & updates daily. Skipper came back happy and not stressed out at all
Patricia was so wonderful to my giant dog Seamus! I knew right away she would treat him like her own. I received a picture and update each day he stayed. That lucky dog was even taken for a trip to the beach!

Patricia was very conscientious about his food schedule and whether or not he required medication. I really appreciated her taking the time to speak with me about his behavioral tendencies and preferences; she's clearly a professional!

Very luck I've found her.

Thanks, Patricia!
