As an animal lover, I began house sitting and walking family and friends' pets at the age of 12. My first job was at a luxury boarding kennel in the North Georgia region - Dalton, GA. During my 7 years at Four Paws Pet Resort, I learned to properly care for dogs and cats of all ages, size, temperaments, and needs. I became a certified Pet Care Technician and attended the additional training courses and completed reading material on pet care. Since moving to Valdosta, Ga 3 years ago, I have cared for friend's pets while they are at work or gone on vacation.
You don't have to worry about your dog(s) being bored or left alone for hours when they stay with me! As a student, I have very flexible hours and will be home for most of the day. During the several hours I am home, your dog(s) will have the luxuries of going on leashed walks through the neighborhood, playing fetch, chasing a frisbee, lots of free time outside in the fenced back yard, and of course a nice air conditioned home when they are ready to come back in and cool down! I also provide additional services such as bathing, so your dog(s) smell nice and clean when you are ready them pick up.
I accept all breeds of our furry four legged friends and family members. For your loved ones' and my safety, I do require up to date shot records including bordeatella (a kennel cough prevention) and a form of flea and tick prevention. All of these records must be available and reviewed prior to the dog(s) stay. Further information such as food aggression, previous biting, aggression towards other dogs, people, and/or children, and fear or anxiety of storms does not automatically disqualify your dog(s) from boarding, but helps me better serve your pet(s) and make them more comfortable during their stay.
