As of October 2016 I will only be taking 2 dogs at a time due to some schedule changes. If my calendar shows booked and you are a prior guest please feel free to text me if you have an emergency or last minute request and I can usually open up a spot. I try my best however, it is getting increasingly more difficult for me to take on new guests and meet and greets at this time....
Dogs provide me with so much love, joy and not to mention a great source of entertainment that I have made it into my full time job! I love all animals! I have a fenced back yard, I am located in a lighter traffic area with a lot of walking trails and a lake, There are no kids in the household just in case you have a dog that is anxious around children. My own dog is an inside dog, sleeps on our bed and is fully crate trained. I do not leave dogs in my yard unattended. In the instance I do need to leave the house I do crate or separate the dogs as well. I do work from home and am extremely fortunate that I can plan my schedule around sitting. This allows me to accommodate special schedule requests. Pottying, medicating or eating early a.m. or late p.m. Early or late dropoffs or pickups are ok, just let me know in advance.
Before requesting a Meet and Greet or a Reservation please take note of the following:
*Due to the volume of dogs that I do care for I do require dogs to have updated vaccinations. Rabies, DHLP, and Bordatella. Mine is up to date on his vaccinations and we also get him Flea & Tick as an added precaution. I do prefer to take dogs that are also fixed as I may have more than one dog at a time.
*My dog is large, I also take any size dogs. I have had as small as a Chihuahua and as big as a St. Bernard. They are all my babies! especially when they are in my care! I usually have at least 1 dog on a daily basis whether they be my daycare buddy or my pawrents on vacation buddy. If there is a chance that your dog is fearful or does not like other dogs. My home may not be a great environment. Meet and Greets are wonderful but by the time you make a reservation I may have 1 or 2 other dogs that your dog would not get to meet.
*I try my best to schedule Meet and Greets when I have as few dogs as possible or no dogs. Again, since I do accommodate older dogs and larger dogs... children can sometimes add more stress to a Meet and Greet and for the safety and respect of your dogs, my dog and ones that I may already have, please try to schedule for a time when you can leave your small children at home. I want the dogs to be able to interact with as little commotion as possible and some animals become more stressed when children are running around.
