Hi! My name is Karen, and I've always loved animals. I'm married and have two daughters, 18 and 16. Our extended family includes Trixie, a 10 year old Chihuahua, Viviene, our 4 year old Amstaff (who is a big baby and wants to love on everyone!! Then there’s Benji, our playful 3 year old cockapoo mix. Add to the mix 2 main coon brothers, Ginger and Marshmallow. Dogs and cats all hang out together, their own mixed pack! I love re-designing my house, gardening, and supporting my kids' activities. I volunteered at the Humane Society for a year in the surgery center. I also learned level 1 dog training, and spent time socializing the dogs. So I have a keen understanding of canine language, and I know how to help them be comfortable. We all love animals and your dog will have a comfortable place to stay. The best guests for our household are dogs who are comfortable and friendly with other dogs and cats. We are happy to host dogs 25 lbs. and under. My Amstaff, Viviene, is affectionate and tame and used to hanging out with small pooches, even a tiny toy poodle! She loves to play if her new pal wants to. My dogs are always supervised and never alone in the yard longer than 5 minutes.
