Hello, my name is Aki. I grew up with animals all my life; Riki (Siberian Husky), lots and lots of hamsters, Mocha (Rabbit), Mana (Lab/ Boxer), Goma (Pomeranian/ Pekinese), and my current baby Mr. Japan (Husky/ Pit). All of my dogs are rescues and I have worked with organizations helping out at adoption events and transporting dogs on spay/ neuter days. Mr. Japan gets along with all types of dogs and loves to play and cuddle. We are both very excited to make new doggy playmates!
I am currently self employed as a professional dance instructor and also run a dance program providing ballroom dance lessons to children with special needs. I only work on certain days so fortunately I have time to take care of your precious puppy whether it will be boarding, daycare, or home visits.
While your puppy is with us, I will be incorporating basic training through positive reinforcement as I do with Mr. Japan and they will have plenty of exercise outside at the park and in my home. With your permission, I can also take them to dog parks for extra play time with other doggies.
I will be happy to host housebroken and friendly doggies who are up to date on all vaccines and deworming in order to keep the safety and well-being of everyone. I unfortunately will not be able to host dogs who are aggressive towards other dogs or have excessive barking issues as I live in an apartment. Sorry :( I will be able to accommodate any special needs your puppy may have and provide convenient pick up/ drop off to and from your home. I do ask that you provide food for your puppy during their stay as some may have issues adjusting to another type of dog food they are not used to. No need to bring any treats (I have plenty!) unless your puppy has any allergies.
My motto is "a tired puppy is a happy puppy". With all of the mental exercise, physical exercise, lots of playtime and of course lots and lots of love, I'm sure your puppy will come home to you exhausted but a super happy puppy!
We are looking forward to hearing from you!
