My love for dogs has always been one of my more blatant characteristics. I've adored them since I was little and unlike most, chose to spend my free time watching Animal Planet rather than Nickelodeon. I've owned a dog since I was in third grade and fully came to terms with taking care of animals when I was about fourteen.
Since then, I've house sat for many people whom had both cats and dogs, some of which being on strict feeding times or exercise plans. Always the responsible type, I make sure the dog's health and happiness is my top priority. (I understand how nerve-wrecking it can be to leave someone alone with your dogs, most of which are more family members than pets.) Doesn't matter if you've got a couch potato or the next Usain Bolt, I always conform to the dog's needs.
There's a nice dog park in my apartment complex as well as the South Platte River Trail only being a ten minute drive away. I'd love to even simply take dogs on walks ; a breath of fresh air never hurt anybody!
Though it should be noted that I have two kittens (one eight month old, one five month old) and the latter has not been around dogs. They were both adopted from a shelter and have at least some vague knowledge since there wasn't much of a barrier between dog kennels and the cat rooms, save for a door, but only the older of the two has physically been in the same room as a puppy. So if you'd like to have the dog stay in my home, that's something that should be taken into consideration!
