About: I’ve been a loving dog mom for the past 20 years. I’ve loved and cared for Mochi, our 19 yr old Shih Tzu who recently passed away. I’ve devoted myself to making sure Mochi lived a long and happy life, which he did! Now, with no pets and more free time on my hands, I would absolutely love to care for your fur baby! I’m currently retired and spend most of my time with my grandson. I would love to fit dog boarding into my flexible schedule as I am home a lot of the times. I spend most days with my 4 year old grandson, so the house is very much baby proofed. Dogs are like our children! I’m very mindful about keeping anything toxic or with chemicals on high shelves, toilet seat covers down, and trash bins covered.

“Hello, I have known Shauna for about 14 years now, and she has always been an amazing pet lover. When we first met she had two ginger cats, Mollie and Angel, which she rescued from the parking lot of a “Food 4 Less”. Six years ago, Shauna had to move back to London for a brief period of time and was heartbroken to leave her ginger babies behind. However, she took the time to researched/screen possible candidates and found a forever home for them in Alhambra. Shauna moved back with her 6 year old daughter about 4 years ago and added a rescued a Shorkie-Poo, Riley, and a Calico cat, Cutiepie, to her new loving home. Since she moved back to California, Shauna has also signed up to volunteer with the ASPCA LA Foster Team, and fostered and bottle fed two litters of new born foster kitties. Shauna is a very responsible and patient mother, and an amazing and caring pet lover. Pets are family to her, and she treats them with so much love. Shauna’s love and caring for pets is impart due to her early childhood upbringings instilled in her by her father, and his love for dogs. Growing up she had a German Shepherd, Broody, a Bichon frise, Tia, and a Bichon Havanese, Luie. Shauna is someone I fully trust with the care of any pet.”
