I have always had a dog in my life, ever since I was a small child. I grew up with a small mixed breed, and when I got married, my husband and I had a miniature poodle. When we lost that dog and our child was 7 years old, we got a Puli. Now that I am retired, I have lots of time to give attention to a dog. However, since I live alone and travel a lot, I have decided not to own a dog, but rather to dog-sit and dog-walk as much as possible. I did this for two years with a Havanese puppy in my building, and it was a most rewarding experience for both of us. I look forward to meeting and caring for many more dogs. It brings so much joy into my life and theirs! What a win-win situation!
