Attention Sweet Pup!
Come enjoy the morning sunshine with me as I tend to the flowers and strawberries in my back garden. If you want a little time to relax in the shade, you can hop up on to the outdoor chaise under the white lilac bush and stretch out for a little snooze. If you get lucky, you just may catch the purple finch or blacktail swallow butterfly who has been frequenting these parts lately.
Later, we can stroll over to Prospect Park (just one block away) to make new friends and take in the sites by the waterfall. We will be sure to check out the "big dawgs" swimming around at Doggie Beach along the way. They sure know how to make a splash!
If you stick around for a slumber party, I have plenty of room to spare. Make yourself cozy and comfortable on the sofa or ottoman. The cool marble slab in front of the fireplace seems to be a real canine favorite, too.
And, there will always be plenty of kisses and cuddles to spare while you are here!
To the owner:
To take care of my cavalier King Charles spaniel was an honor and a privilege and I will feel the same way about your little furry family member.
I adore the company of dogs and my husband does as well.
I am very comfortable giving oral medications (liquid and pill) as well as brushing teeth, if required.
I have two floors and a backyard for your dog to explore freely. He/she is allowed on the sofas and in the bedroom, but not on the bed. Please bring your dog freshly bathed, when possible.
I also have two dedicated dog blankets in the house with lots of plush and hard chew toys for your pup to play with. (Blankets and toys are washed after each guest's visit.) Finally, my home is toxin-free as I use all eco-friendly cleaners.
I have volunteered in the past as a dog walker for the ASPCA and for BARC Animal Rescue Shelter, both through New York Cares. As such, I am very comfortable spending time with new dogs, learning to read their body language and how to make them feel at ease in new situations. For their visit, please bring along their favorite treat as a familiar reward.
We love our neighbors, so please, I can only accept dogs who bark silently. :-)
