My family always owned dogs growing up. Always loved them! Since I’ve been on my own, I've always wanted to be a dog owner, but I sometimes travel for work and simply wouldn't want me & my fur-child to be separated from each other that often. I live alone (no children or pets) and love when my fur-pals come visit me. I have a BarkBox membership that I use to spoil my friends’ dogs and all my fur-pals that visit me here. I love it! I have a fully enclosed/fenced back yard also has a fake grass strip on the side of the house which is shaded most hours of the day (perfect for dog naps and relaxing outdoors). The dogs are absolutely welcome indoors, on my furniture, and on my bed if they wish to be. I own my own business and work from home, so your dog will never be alone. I make my own hours and plan accordingly so we have plenty of time for walks, parks, playtime, cuddles, etc. There are 4 dog-friendly parks all within 1 mile or so of my house that I frequent when I’m dog sitting. When the weather is nice I’ve been to the parks up to 4 times a day just to enjoy the outdoors and make sure the dogs are living it up! We have a blast, I love it and so do they. I’m also ok with staying home if the dog has anxiety in public or around other dogs. My backyard can easily suffice for some fetch and other activities as well as a place for them to relieve themselves without having to go too far.
