About Erin

20 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I'm a non practicing RN and now focus my energies on taking care of your fur babies when you are not able to! I offer in home boarding to only one fur family at a time, and this allows me to give plenty of one on one love and attention to your fur babies. I specialize in hosting pups who are most comfortable in a home environment rather than a kennel. I enjoy having guests that are higher needs, such as those that are anxious, or that are reaching their golden years. I also welcome working with pets that have complex medical needs, or if you're needing additional respite support for your fur baby as they approach the pathway to the rainbow bridge.
I'm able to administer oral, subcutaneous and IM injectable medications and provide basic first aid care (eg wound care/hot spot tx) if needed.

Typically at our meet and greet appointment introductions are made with our dog Wrigley, making sure our guest pups are of similar temperament and energies and allowing guests to see our family dynamics. I aim to duplicate your dogs' home routine and environment as much as possible, and my goal is to provide a stress free stay for you fur babies while in my care.

I'm an advocate of clean living and use Eco and pet friendly products in and around our home.

We live in NW London near the river, with plenty of walking trails in our immediate area, as well, we have a large fenced in yard with lots of room to play. When your fur babies stay here they will have lots of snuggles, constant companionship and plenty of TLC and supervised access outside. Your pet will be treated like one of the family when they stay with us.

I've been taking care of animals for 20+ years and can provide references and testimonials upon request.

Erin is a fantastic and so much more than a pet sitter! She bonded so well with our Rottweiler (and our family), and was able to care for him in ways we never expected. He was a very special needs boy who had epilepsy and then cancer and had a very strict medication & feeding schedule. Erin was extremely detailed with how she spent time with him and made sure he wasn't needing for anything, especially TLC which she's so good at giving! Erin was extremely compassionate and understood our boy's needs. Words can't really describe how great she was with our boy, and I will be using her services again with our latest addition! Truly the best care you can give to your pet if you can't be there for them!!

My poodle Nikki loved her stay with Erin and her poodle Wrigley, the gentle giant. My dog requires lots of TLC and she sure got lots of that. She got to cuddle as much as she wanted. She had lots of walks which she loves. Erin was amazing at keeping me posted with texts, emails and pictures. It really helped settle me. I am the type of owner who has a hard time leaving my dog with someone else. I felt totally at peace knowing she was with Erin. I highly recommend Erin on DogVacay.
We met Erin for a meet and greet at our house with our two whippets. She immediately took to the pups. Our dogs have some anxiety issues and need to go outside frequently and she didn't shy away from that responsibility..
We left Erin for two nights at our house. She touched base the first day several times: when she first arrived at the house, mid day to let us know how the dogs and cats were doing and then at bed time. We had several pictures as well throughout the day and she really put our minds at ease. You can tell by her communication she really loves animals and her nursing back ground serves her well in this role. My mother, who was watching our 4 and 6 year old joked that we got more communication from Erin regarding our pets than we did on our own kids. Lol. We can't say enough about Erin. Our dogs and cats seemed really happy upon our arrival home. We look forward to using Erin for our next vacation.
Thank you, Jaime
We loved having Erin come and spend the day with Hanna. It was nice to know that Hanna was in good hands. As I left to go out, I could see the two of them walking to the park and Hanna didn't hesitate or even look back. Erin left our home very tidy and when we arrived home, Hanna seemed quite content. Thanks for Erin and Dog Vacay!
Erin is obviously a serious dog lover. Kaie returned home a very happy boy after having had lots of attention and fun. Many thanks, Erin. I am sure that we'll be seeing you again soon..
My pup had a great time staying with Erin. I was on the search for in home care so that my rescue pup felt as comfortable as possible while I was away. Erin was wonderful and bonded with Libby as soon as they met. We were both very happy to have found her! Thanks Erin, Libby has slept for the last 3 days from all of the fun.
Our eleven year old dog Roxie stayed with Erin for a week and we had an excellent experience! Roxie and their dog Wrigley met beforehand which put us at ease for the long stay. We have previously had trouble finding a good kennel in London as we wanted Roxie to have more personal attention and care, all of which is provided by Erin! Roxie loved their large fenced-in backyard and going on outings. We loved the fact that Roxie was not left alone for the trip and that Erin sent daily updates via text (pictures and videos included). I highly recommend Erin for anyone looking for a dog sitter, especially if the dog has any medical conditions.
Erin has been an absolute blessing to my Furr family and I. Erin went above and beyond in her services for us. We went away for 4 days.I loved receiving daily photos and updates of my Furr kids. She treats your dog as if it was her own. I am so happy to have found Erin and I would recommend her to anyone she is wonderful. Thank you Erin!
