Growing up I always loved animals and wanted to help and care for them. I have personally owned dogs, cats, rats, mice, bunnies, fish, snakes, and turtles. Of the animals not listed I have most likely either cared for or am very familiar with. I am comfortable with every type of animal and have experience caring for them. I am currently a junior at the University of Texas at Dallas studying biochemistry with a pre-veterinary track. I am also a veterinary assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital. I am Red Cross certified for CPR in dogs and cats, a Certified Veterinary Assistant, and have spent over 1000 hours working under or shadowing a veterinarian. I am comfortable administering oral and injectable medications and am familiar with many health concerns or illnesses your pet may have. I believe it is important to know that your pets are in good hands while you are away, and I am happy to provide that. I currently do not offer services in my own home, but will gladly travel to you whether it be to just play with your pet for a while, go on a walk, or spend the night. I also can drive your pet to a dog park or veterinarian if it needs vaccines or a checkup while you are gone. I do not provide services for aggressive dogs without a current rabies vaccination. Otherwise I am comfortable with them and have had training on how to handle situations with aggressive animals. I hope to hear from you soon!
