Your dog will be loved by us while you're away!
We've watched many dogs in our single story home. I've grown up with dogs, raised & trained them. As a family we have fostered via BigDawgs Rescue, We rescued both of our dogs from Portland SPCA and Jake's Rescue. And we've boarded too many to count.
Our breed experience includes a large variety. All shapes - All sizes - All friendly
We have no breed requirements, but we do have temperament requirements. I would like a full history of your four-legged & a meet and greet first, before booking. Leash aggression and food aggression I can handle on a case by case basis. Please let me know if this is something I need to be aware of.
Our eldest dog, Hannah is sweet, submissive and slow moving. Her old age prevents her from being involved in active play though she loves new canine company.
Our latest addition, Astrid was born in April of 2016, We've had her since August 2016. She was a rescue land is a lab mix. She loves to play with other dogs: she romps, wrestles, and plays tug of war.
Our 1 story home sits on just under a 1/4 acre. We have a large, horse-shoe shaped, fenced yard (room to run and play fetch) that backs up to cattle acreage. It is part flat and part sloped.
We will provide short walks for your pooch in our dog-loving neighborhood. In addition s/he will be provided daily play time and will be smothered affection, attention, and love by not only me, but my husband and my tween daughters too.
Characteristics that are NOT a good fit: aggressive dogs, dogs who mark, dogs who continually (daily) show dominance or dogs who incessantly bark. We will ONLY take in people/kid/dog friendly dogs.
As a primary caregiver to my family with a flexible, work-from-home job, I am home everyday with many ins and outs. Dogs come with us to weekend events when allowed.
We are true dog lovers and want your furry family member to feel safe, secure, and cared for. Hannah, Astrid and all of us look forward to meeting you!
