About Angie

16 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
**I live less than 10 minutes from the San Antonio Int'l. Airport...from driveway to curb side!!!

Please read on to learn about me and get some questions answered that you might have!

I absolutely love love love dogs! I've always had a dog in my life with the exception of a couple years during my young, single days. My husband and I bred our Miniature Schnauzer so I have experience with pregnancy and newborn puppies. We now have Gussie, a 6 year old female, spayed, Shih-Poo and a 10 year old, female, spayed Shih-Tzu, Bella. I am home all day with Gussie and Bella. We love to learn and do tricks, play outside, go to the dog parks and go for walks up and down our street which is not connected to a busy street so it's very safe. We also like to take naps together! We have a swimming pool which would be open to your dog with your written permission and a life vest. I will be in the pool with the vested dogs for extra safety and play. I also require either a car seatbelt harness or your dog to be in a crate which will sit in the cargo area of my vehicle. Gussie and Bella have used a seatbelt harness since we got them. It's nice to have them in the backseat, safe and where I can see them and they can see me and the world around them. I feel the seatbelt harness is much safer than a crate in a vehicle. I will not allow a dog to be free in the car while I'm driving.

I am available 24/7 so my schedule is very flexible. I'm a fairly young retiree after 23 years of service at a major airline that advertises "FUN" in their ads. I still have that "Fun" mentality. I love to play!

**I will care for any breed, but I can only accept dogs weighing no more than
25 lbs.

Young puppies are more than welcome! I would look forward to helping you continue the routine of feeding and potty training in my home throughout the day or night. Even middle of the night feedings &/or cuddles.

I will be very attentive to your dog's eating schedule and any other special needs regarding food, treats and snacks.

There are other items we'll need to discuss.
Gussie, Bella and I will meet with you and your baby soon so we can make sure they are compatible and that you are comfortable with me. I guarantee I will give your dog all the TLC any dog deserves. It will fulfill me as well. Please consider me... a responsible, trustworthy and extremely caring "mom", while you're at work, on a weekend away or on an extended business trip or vacation. My fees are very competitive and negotiable.

Angie is awesome! I would definitely recommend her to watch your pet. She took great care of our dog after he was neutered. She sent pics and communicated throughout the weekend. Everything went perfect and I would definitely use her again. Thank you Angie for a perfect experience!

From the time I started communicating with Angie for possible pet care I could tell she was a sweet, caring person and most importantly, a dog lover! Then when we met her and her pups, Gussie and Bella at the dog park for the Meet and Greet, it sealed the deal. When we both arrived there in the parking lot and Angie yelled over to our dogs " Is that Emmitt and Hanna?" in her sweet voice, our dogs immediately got excited and HAD to get over there and meet her. Angie "had them at hello".

Her home is safe and pet friendly with lots of doggie toys to play with. She kept us informed daily in what was going on with our pups during their stay and sent us cute little pics too. This was only the second time we have used in home boarding services for our fur-babies, so we are all still learning how they do while we are away. Angie was very caring and patient with our Emmitt, who showed some separation anxiety through barking until we put our heads together and thought that a Thunder Shirt might help calm the issue for the remainder of their stay. Luckily, she actually had a Thunder shirt for one of her pups. When we need pet care for our fur-babies in the future, we hope that Angie will have openings because we would definitely book with her again.

Angie's awesome! I feel totally comfortable leaving town knowing Angie is taking care of my 7 month old Mini Dachshund Rotor. She gives me regular updates throughout the day witch is very comforting.
She is obviously a very responsible, kind, caring, animal loving person and I highly recommend her.
