Pet care experience
My wife and I have 5 beagles and a German Shepherd of our own that we love so much! Everything we do revolves around them whether it is going to the dog park, on a walk, or on vacation. My wife and I live a very active lifestyle even though we now have a couple children in the home. We love to play with our dogs but we also love afternoon naps and cuddles! We have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages as we also run a nonprofit rescue in Monroe, NC. We understand dog's behaviors, body language, and limits very well so we can assure you that your pets would never have a bad experience at our home. We own 2 acres of property with about an acre fenced in where our dogs play and roam. Connected to our fencing is a garage that we have insulated and added AC/heat to. Our dogs like to go in and out as they please so we have a couch and dog beds inside the garage in case they want to come in and cool off. They come in around lunch time for a nap and in the evening when it is time for bed. We have a great relationship with our vet in that if there was an illness/injury we could contact him directly. Our rate is lower than others because we have such an ideal setup for our dogs. We also understand that boarding expenses can be costly so we want to be sensitive to that as well.

We treat our pets like they're part of the family. We can accommodate any schedule that your pup may be on as we are very flexible people. Your pup will get plenty of exercise as our dogs like to be outside and active. Our fence is 5 ft tall and boarded up all the way around so no dogs can escape.

All we really like to know is if your dog is an escape artist and/or if the dog is food aggressive. We can accommodate both but would like to plan ahead of time.
A typical day
We let our dogs out in the morning between 630am-7am. They spend a couple hours playing, roaming, and sniffing around in our backyard. Then we feed them mid morning and put them up during the hottest parts of the day for a nap. Then they're usually out in the afternoon until it gets dark and then they're fed and put up for bed for the night.

I (Keith) work part time in the office and part time at home during the week. Brittany is a stay at home mom so she is home fulltime while we are both home all weekend long.
