About Rachel

16 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
SCHOOL UPDATE:
Please note that due to my clinical rotation schedule, my availability is extremely limited.

As a veterinary student, I am uniquely qualified to care for your pups! Overnight stays in your home include all walks, feeding and playtime. I have owned dogs my whole life, petsat for neighbors for as long as I can remember, and worked in kennels and veterinary hospitals for the last 9 years. And because your pup will be having a staycation, s/he won't be stressed by a new environment. In addition, if you have other pets in your home, I have experience with all types of animals-cats, horse, small mammals, birds, etc. I am a trustworthy person who would love to watch your pets!

Always great, thanks Rachel!
Awesome as always. Thanks again Rachel!!
We were like nervous parents, but Rachel was extremely reassuring. We came home to a happy Chloe, who was able to keep her "routine" while we away. Thanks Rachel!
She's a wonderful and kind person who you can trust with your dogs.
Rachel stayed over our house while we went away for the weekend. Our dogs were very content and happy when we came home. Rachel is an excellent person to watch your dogs but don't book up all her time as we will be needing her again very soon!!
This was the second time we have had Rachel stay with our blind, and neurologically impaired puppy, Noelle. Both times Rachel stayed at our home, which is so important for a dog in Noelle's condition. She did a wonderful job with Noelle and I would recommend Rachel. She is conscientious, responsible, and professional. We hope that she would be willing to return in the future and maybe even utilize her services even for a weekend or overnight getaway with all four of our dogs home with her so we do not have to split them up.

Rachel was a wonderful pet sitter for my senior boy who is blind and deaf, slow moving and incontinent and has Cushing's disease which requires special medication twice a day. I asked Rachel to come over for a "meet and greet" which she did promptly. My dog was comfortable with her, and I felt reassured that he would be in good hands because Rachel is a veterinary student at University of Pennsylvania. Indeed, she was a perfect choice for both my dog and me. She stayed in touch with me while I was away and cared for my dog in the way I asked her to. I will use her again to take care of him when I am away from home. Having someone dependable and professional stay in your home caring for your dog is the best of all possible worlds. I came home to a stress free elder dog and in hindsight, that made my mini- vacay even better !! Thank you, Rachel.

Rachel was great. Took care of the dogs, plus the bonus of having a house-sitter. All good reviews here!
Rachel was very responsible. We left her in our home with a 9 month old puppy, so she had her work cut out for her! She took excellent care of our pup, paying close attention to detail and giving him much needed TLC while we were away. Thank you Rachel!

Rachel was wonderful. She came over to meet our two dogs in advance and they loved her. Both of our dogs are rescues and have some quirks (some might even go so far as to say 'special needs'). Rachel took it all in stride. She is not only a pet owner herself but she is a veterinary student. This was our first time leaving our dogs with anyone but family, so we were nervous. Rachel stayed in our apartment while we were gone and did everything to set our minds at ease. She communicated with us through email, even sent us a picture of our guys relaxing at home. Because of our flight plans we needed to have someone else come in the very last day to feed & walk the dogs the final time. Rachel prepared the meals in advance and even left her phone number and some tips for our 'transition' person. Very responsible, very professional, very loving with your pets. I would definitely use her services again and highly recommend her.
