About Grace

14 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I love and care for pets like my own.

I have had a dog all my life since I was six years old. I have always treated mine and other dogs as a part of my family. I get down in the floor and play with them and love to cuddle on the couch and give lots of love. I am able to give dogs medication if needed. I understand older dogs who have some anxiety and dementia and give them special attention. I walk dogs every 4-6 hours as needed. I watch a friends do from time to time from 1 night up to a week at times.

I had friend's dog who was unable to keep her. I took her for her until she passed this year. I had her for 11 years. She was a border collie mix. I recently fostered another dog, who couldn't keep her for awhile. My roommate, for a short time, has a schnoodle. He stays most of his days with his grandpa, so it's not a problem if you have a dog who needs to be an only dog.

I am willing to learn to give injections if needed and you feel comfortable with that.

I live in a condo, there was a choice for that so I put house, that is on the walk in level so there are no steps to climb and have two balconies.

Photography is a hobby of mine and I love pet photography!

>Grace was absolutely amazing. She took great care of my dog, Sammie (a Samoyed husky), and I already recommended her to a few friends. You can tell she loves animals. She sends plenty of pictures to show you she is giving all of the love to your pet while you are away. While I was on vacation, Sammie was too with Grace. ~Devin

>Wonderful experience having Grace watch my doggie today!! She took lots of pictures, kept me updated, punctual, friendly, and left info about his day! Will definitely be a repeat customer! I highly recommend her. Thank you, Grace!! ~Heather

>Cannot say enough good things about Grace! She is the best!!!! She took in our little Maltese for four days and cared for him like he was her own. She sent updates and amazing pictures every day. The pics are keepers! I've never seen my dog so happy. When we picked him up, she gave us a list of activities they did while we were away. Grace was a wonderful, caring sitter and a great communicator from start to finish. I am so excited to have found such a great sitter for our little boy and look forward to the next time. Huge THANK YOU, Grace!!!! ~Karen

>Grace is wonderful. Opie had a great time with his walks, play time and cuddle time with her, along with a photoshoot. Highly recommend. Puppy approved. :) ~Kim
>You couldn't ask for a better person to watch your dog, Grace was amazing!!! She is a true dog person and loves your dog like her own. She went above and beyond to provide details about Molly's stay and even took beautiful portrait style pics of Molly. My sometimes anxious dog was very relaxed and happy when we went to pick her up. She enjoyed lots of walks and spoiling by Grace. I would highly recommend Grace and plan to use her again in the future. ~Renee

>Our senior dog stayed with Grace for 4 nights this past week. It was a great experience. Grace is everything you'd want in a sitter. She is gentle, communicative, thorough, attentive, and most importantly my dog loved her. She kept us updated on how our dog was doing. We will definitely leave our dog Grace's care in the future. ~Meg

>Grace was good to our dog JoJo and they seemed to get along well. We have only used her for one night at this point but will be asking for her help in the future. She does not have a yard for dogs to run but we knew that when we used her. She does take the dogs she cares for out to walk. And she keeps a timeline for the owner and takes pictures which is so nice. ~Nelsen

>My dog stayed with Grace for a little over 24 hours and it was our (my dog and I) first time having someone who we were not familiar with dog sit. Grace was very responsive upon our arrival. She was welcoming and made sure that her dog and my dog were introduced prior to my dog entering their home. I can tell Grace loves dogs as much as I do which allowed me to settle my nerves a little more, I am a nervous dog-parent what can I say! Grace gave me updates and pictures every time I contacted her via text she even took professional dog portraits for me with out request which was really sweet! When I picked up my dog, Grace provided me with a schedule summary of all the things my dog did and at what time which I really liked. All in all Grace was a great fit for my dog and I, and I would be more than willing to have my pooch stay with her anytime I am in the NC area.~~Jennifer

>Grace has been my closest friend for the past 10 years. When we met our dogs were the same age and since Grace and I are friends our dogs became friends too. She has always treated my dog as her very own. He calls her his "Aunt Grace". He loves to go to his Aunt Grace's house and perks up in the car on the way there. He has his own toys and treats there. He even has his favorite chair at her house that no one else is supposed to be in. Grace watches him for me whenever I am away. He loves her and she loves him. She treats all dogs with this kind of care. The way dogs respond to her lets you know they immediately feel comfortable with her.
I recommend her strongly as a dog caregiver.~~Penny

>I met Grace while working for Hope Reins, a therapeutic riding center. She is wonderful with the animals and the children that come there. I also recently had to find a place for my own dog to live since I was moving and not able to take her with me. My dog is like a child to me so I did not take the decision of where to put her lightly. Grace watched her for a couple of days as a test run and I have not seen my dog so happy in a long time. She was playing and jumping like a puppy when I came to pick her up. I would recommend Grace to anyone I knew was looking for a pet sitter.~~Sandra

>Grace is a kind, caring and gentle pet lover. She is very skilled with animals and has such a good heart that pets immediately form a bond with her. You can count on her to be professional, considerate and easy to work with.~~Marilyn

Grace was awesome with Biscuits. Playtime, photos, notes. He was a happy camper. She is on the top of my list!
Grace is terrific! She is a dog lover and took excellent care of Sookie in her home. She took her on long walks, played with her and the pictures that she sent showed how comfortable and happy Sookie was in her home. We will certainly use her again- she's great

Grace is wonderful and Sookie had a great time staying in her home. It is apparent that she is a real dog lover and took Sookie on long walks, played ball with her and gave her lots of attention. I think that Sookie was sad to leave! We will surely use her again!

Grace was such a loving and wonderful host for my mini schnauzer Kobe Jack! She immediately understood his slight separation anxiety and even laid on the floor with him while I was unloading his things from the car. She listened and took all the extra steps to make Kobe feel safe and loved during the transition.

I was delighted that soon after I left and daily I received great photos of Kobe Jack as he started to loosen up and make himself at home.

Grace took special care of Kobe Jack and I will bring him back as often as she is available!

Did I mention, Grace takes amazing pet photos? Just saying.... :-)

Grace was awesome with our dog Zoey. She took me at the last minute which helped me out a lot. She sent me pictures , videos, and messages throughout the day. When we picked Zoey up Grace gave us a printout of what Zoey had done throughout the day and some very cute pictures of Zoey. Grace was very loving and played with Zoey throughout the day. Zoey came home happy and tired. I would definitely use Grace again.
