*We welcome SMALL and MEDIUM sized dogs for boarding and day care! Unfortunately we cannot accept dogs larger than 30 lbs or puppies of large breeds (>30lbs adult).
**We do dog boarding for puppies who are 6 months or older. Puppy must be house trained and there is a 3 night minimum for dog boarding for new puppies (this requirement does not apply to puppies we've sat for in the past). We do not board puppies of large breeds (>30 lb adult) and young puppies < 6 months old. (Holiday rates for puppies are: $45/puppy daycare, $55/night boarding)
***We do not offer house sitting services.
We're Marissa and Dennis, a dog loving couple living in Glendale! We have a Jack Russell/Puggle mix named Apollo, and he loves making friends and snuggling! Marissa works from home and Dennis has a flexible work schedule, so your dog will have plenty of company (both human and canine :)). We live in a great first floor unit with hardwood floors throughout in a quiet residential neighborhood with easy street parking and close to the hiking trails.
We both have experience handling animals of all types—Marissa volunteers with the West LA Animal Shelter, and Dennis has grown up with dogs and cats all his life. We tailor each vacay to your dog's personality and energy level. High energy dogs get hikes and long walks, low energy dogs get plenty of nap time and playtime at home. Both types get lots of cuddles and love!
Please send us a request and we look forward to meeting you and your pup!
For overnight boarding stays, your pup may be picked up within 2 hours of the drop-off time for no extra charge. (ex: for 1 night boarding and 9am drop off, pick up by 11am next day.) For pickups after this 2 hour grace period, it will be $10 per additional hour, up to our current daycare rate ($30).
Please communicate your drop-off and pick-up times before you confirm your reservation. We understand that sometimes delays happen for reasons outside your control, such as flight delays or road traffic. However, please be courteous and update us promptly if that's the case.
We understand that every dog is unique and we limit the dogs we take to provide them the individual attention they need during their stay. However, we do not provide 24/7 care and even though someone is home 90% of the time, from time to time, we have to step out temporarily for household errands during the day. So if your dog has extreme separation anxiety characterized by excessive barking/whining if left alone for short periods of time (1-2 hrs at most), and/or your dog has barking related concerns, we won't be able to take him/her.
