I recently lost my almost 16 year old dog, Buddha. She was a chow-chow/golden retriever mix. I miss having dogs around but I haven't fully grieved her loss, so I figured this would be a good way to enjoy the good parts of dog ownership without getting too attached. I've done some dog-sitting of a 90 pound mastiff/German Shepard mix and I oftentimes take care of my sister's American Staffordshire Terrier, so I can handle the big and strong ones as well as the little ones. You can check my photos to see all of the various breeds that have come to visit lately and some of the activities that we enjoy together. My house is great for dogs - no stairs and a back patio for playing and quick potty breaks.
I'm a big fan of Cesar Milan and believe is his training methods and mantras. (EXERCISE/DISCIPLINE/AFFECTION). If this sounds like a good fit for you, then, I look forward to meeting you and your pet - he or she will love the experience!
