About Sharon

3 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I absolutely love dogs and have been around them in my family and in my home since I was a baby. I am super excited to meet new dogs, and can't help but to say hi to them when I'm out.

I look forward to cuddling, playing, walking, and just giving your fur babies the best time they can have while you are away. Of course they will miss you, but I will keep you updated with pics and notes, so that you know they are happy and in good hands.

The "vacay" spot is a cape style home with carpeting in the bedrooms only. There is about 30SF of the 1/2 acre that is fenced for unleashed fun. We have beach rights, so there may occasional strolls in the sand and a swim if your dog likes water.

I hope to hear from you soon!

I had been leaving Izzi my 2 y/o terrier/border mix in a kennel while I travel for work, usually 2-3 days every 2 weeks, but this trip was 4 whole days. My mom had told me about DogVacay so I thought he would be more cared for in someones home, rather than a kennel, although mostly fine also, you never really know until the "stay" is over. I can personally confirm that this was a GREAT random decision, Sharon was AWESOME!! When I picked Izzi up he was surely excited, clean and happy. It is not easy at all to watch someones else's pet, especially a rowdy 25 lb puppy in a new place, he does not know the "house rules" there and think he can do anything he wants, jump on furniture, and eat your mail and shoes! I could tell right away that Izzi took advantage of her kindness, I truly commend her abilities, love of animals, compassion, patience and caring of someones pet. There is an amount of trust you have to place in a stranger and I could not have felt more comfortable with her, I would trust her with watching me for a week (if I was a dog!). I told her to be firm and have him live by her rules, but no matter, he ate a shoe, peed and pooped on the floor, arrrg, I felt so bad I had to give her a big tip. I'm sorry about that Sharon! Take your pet to her but take care of her back please, it is not easy at all to watch my dog (or me!), so no matter what your week was like, hers was worse, maybe not your pet, mine yeah, but he is cuddly and cute! Sharon was so kind to our dog. She sent lots of pictures to let us know our pup was having fun. I would recommend Sharon to anyone in the area!
Sharon came to take our rottweiler for a walk while we were camping so that we could take a day trip. It was so convenient having her come and she did a great job taking him out for a mid-day walk. She also sent us some photos. Great experience!
Our 2 year old weimeraner had a fantastic time and we were updated with photos everyday!
Sharon is a lovely and kind person who really loves animals. My dog was very well cared for and had no problems..... thanks Sharon!
We were very glad to find Sharon. She kept us up to date and was incredibly quick responding to any messages. Dogs were happier than anywhere else they had been.
Sharon was amazing! We were gone for 3 1/2 weeks and leaving our baby wasn't easy, but the photos, updates and quick text responses eased our nerves about being gone for so long. She was truly great, Tilly came home happy and so did we. We will definitely use Sharon the next time we need a doggy sitter....highly recommend and not a single worry, your pups will be in the best hands possible!

Sharon is a very caring responsible person that loves animals. After one visit, I trusted her completly with Sandie. The photos being sent many times a day was great! The home environment she provides is perfect vs. going to a large puppy day care operation.
