My wife and I are graduate students at Texas Christian University and live in North Fort Worth. We have six furkids, all from the local shelter. Three-D is a terrier mix who is approximately 9 years old, Malcom is a chocolate Lab mix and is about 3 years old, Inara is a torbie cat about two years old matched with a black domestic medium hair named Darby. Our newest additions are River a five month old torbie matched with her sister Zoe, a black domestic shorthair.
Our furkids prefer to vacation at home when we must go out of town or out of state and we believe that many other furkids feel the same way. The advantages are comfort, familiarity, and no need to pick them up or drop them off. I have many years of experience taking care of dogs and cats, but growing up on a farm I am also familiar with dairy goats, llamas, chickens, guinea fowl, ducks, and geese.
My wife has a biology major and has spent several years as a wildcare volunteer for orphaned and injured wildlife. She is skilled as I am in administering oral and injectable medications as needed.
All pets reservations accepted regardless of size, breed, or species. This means if you have pets other than dogs that need to be cared for, we are happy to provide attentional and companionship for them as well.
