My name is Elyse and I have two well-behaved dogs (Kozmo & Shiva) and one mostly social cat (Smooshes) and a rambunctious 1.5 year old boy in my own home in Victoria and I have to leave them all on the island to do some professional development training in a Vancouver. So while I am away from them, I am looking to stay and take care of your fur kids so I don’t miss mine as much (it just means that my husband gets to keep our pets and our house in Sooke all to himself for awhile!) ;) I am looking to house and pet sit at your home close to the sky train in the GVA and would prefer longer term contracts between the end of May until September, 2019. I will be in classes during the day but never away longer than 6 hours and will be sure to get home to give your fur kids breaks, walks, and all the cuddles. I am an early riser and would love to take your pup out for my morning workout, am more than happy to roll around on the floor, and I also have no problems with them snuggling up in bed (if that’s a house rule you allow). In our home, we think it's called FURniture for a reason - dogs and cats are welcome to sleep, sit, and play where they want but in your home, it’s your rules and I will enforce them exactly how you would. I try to keep everything as normal and consistent as possible for them, so tell me your rules, commands, and schedules and I will follow them! I focus on positive reinforcement and energy/behaviour methods. I can send text updates/pictures or even FaceTime you if you’re missing them too much. I know it can be tough to be away from your fur kids but with me, they will be in the best of hands! I have many years of experience with a variety of dog breeds and cat personalities and even a few lizards and hedgehogs (no snakes or spiders, please!) Any questions - just ask!
