We live in a spacious modular home with a backyard and enough space for an animal of any size to romp around during their stay. The house itself has an open concept, so your pet will always be visible.
If your pet needs a more quiet atmosphere, we can also arrange for that. Or if your pet has a special bed, we can make room for him/her wherever you want.
We are also close to walking trails and the backyard is fully fenced with lots of balls for playing.
If you are okay with it, we can also take your pet to the dog park which is only a couple miles from our house (San Rafael).
My name is Jessica, I am 27 years old and I absolutely love animals. I am currently a college student working towards getting my degree in Elementary/Special Education with a dual in Art. I currently have a loving cat named Archimedes who just recently turned 1 year old. I love pets and would love to have a cattle dog, goat and chickens in the near future to keep me company!
I tend to be more of that person who stays inside, but that's only because I love crafting and creating art! I do love to walk around the Marina and we have a couple of awesome spots up in the hills that I take my regular dog-sitting dogs running.
I am very trustworthy, reliable and am excellent at following through with any special instructions I may be given. I work with Phillip when it comes to your dogs! He and I are a perfect team. I help with keeping the lines of communication open with all of our pup parents and spoiling the doggies with bones and toys. Phillip spends his day with the dogs as this is his full time love! He is very caring and loves to wrestle and cuddle with your pups. He is always available for sitting requests.
We have always loved dogs. I grew up with a fawn-colored pug named Pugsley and he was honestly one of the first loves of my life. He was a great dog and lived to be 17 years old! I was the one who took care of him in the last couple of years of his life and he meant a lot to me. Phillip has a 2 year old bearded collie who is the absolute love of his life.. Much to my chagrin! (of course I'm teasing) She is the sweetest dog we've ever met and gets along with absolutely everyone. I adopted a kitten --now cat!-- about 5 years ago and he's lived with every kind of person, dog and animal. He can tell anytime we have new dogs and knows to give them space until he knows if they are kitty lovers also.
I have also been house-sitting on a regular basis for almost 4 1/2 years now. They have 3 large dogs all of which are not your average pooch. One has a history of being temperamental around other humans and animals; one has a digestive problem and requires medicine to be mixed with his food daily; and the last one is what we call a 'runner' she likes to escape the house and run away unless taken for long runs nightly. With these three, I have gained a lot of experience with more of the troublesome pet and even though they can get into troubles, I love them all as my own.
