About Paul

14 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
It's no secret to all of my friends that I am a HUGE animal lover, with a soft spot for dogs! Having grown up with four-legged friends for most of my life, I have a love and enthusiasm for all types of breeds.

Along with a private yard, I am also steps away from the LA river, which has a pet-friendly path, with access to several parks. I also have 6+ years of experience in working for petsitting/dog walking companies and when my schedule permits, I volunteer at various animal shelters.

My Shiba Inu (Gia) is a very-friendly and playful dog who was socially-trained at a very young age and has never shown aggression to another dog or person.

I look forward to watching your special one who will never be without love or attention. Hope to hear from you soon and thanks for your interest!

I found Paul and his adorable dog, Gia, to be welcoming and experienced pup hosts. Paul's extensive background working with dogs means he's more than capable of keeping your dog safe, comfortable, and happy.

His house has two floors with a completely secure yard for play time and sunbathing. Downstairs, there is a rec room which becomes dog heaven when guests arrive: Paul turns the couch into a day bed for the dogs to lounge on.

If the rec room and yard aren't enticing enough, Paul lives right next to the LA River pathway which gives his pack access to miles of dog-walking delights. And did I mention how sweet Gia is? She's going to be your dog's new best friend!

It was the first time for Bowie staying with a dog sitter, with a person that he doesn't know, in a house that is not his, for 2 days. Thanks Paul and Gia! I definitely contact you again next time I need a dog sitter. And the service Pick-up and drop-off was necessary for me!!!Grazie and see you soon

From the first message, Paul was FANTASTIC! I've had a couple bad experiences on DogVacay, and he put my anxieties to rest immediately. He is a nice, caring pet sitter who truly loves what he does. My pups had a great time - and loved his cute little shiba inu! Paul was great about updates. I especially enjoyed seeing a video of the four of them - Paul, his dog, and my two guys, all snuggled up on the couch next to each other. When I picked them up, it was clear they had a great time and just love Paul. Paul, you can count on us as repeat guests! Thank you!

Paul was awesome and did such an amazing job taking care of our puppy! We had him visit the dog in our home since he was too young to be boarded with other dogs, and Paul was really accommodating about making multiple visits a day—especially since it's a puppy who's still working on potty training. Our dog loved him immediately and they seemed to have a great time together—which we knew because Paul sent tons of updates, photos, and videos! He followed all our instructions perfectly, including all food and medication. Paul is really great with dogs and on top of all that, a really nice, cool guy!

Paul did a fantastic job taking care of our husky and cats! He was able to come over for a quick interview the day I contacted him and then stayed for 5 days. Everyday I got multiple updates and pictures. He really went the extra mile by taking Luka on walks daily and playing with the kittens. I've never felt more comfortable with a sitter! I highly recommend Paul!

Paul and his zen-dog Gia are top-notch. Paul is super responsive, pleasant, and accommodating, and it only gets better. Paul is very respectful and conscientious about your dog's needs and your requests, and, he demonstrates a very good understanding of dogs and their behavior. His place is outfitted for the dog's comfort, the dogs get constant attention, and he takes them on walks along the LA River, plays with them, and provides updates and photos. Paul's dog Gia reflects Paul's hospitality and awareness, and knows how to befriend even the more persnickety dogs. I trust Paul's attention and care, and I don't know if it is humanely/dogly possible to do a better job than these two. Thank you!!!

Paul and Gia are fantastic. The frequent video and picture updates made our vacation. We will absolutely stay in touch. Paul truly loves dogs and couldn't be more accommodating and kind.
FANTASTIC!!!! As long as Paul is available, Andy will always have a special Vacay when I'm traveling. Andy stayed with Paul and Gia (his furry companion) for 2 weeks and I'm grateful for his excellent care. Paul is kind, active, professional and responsible and offers a nice home with a small secure yard for dogs to play and sniff.

Andy is a Terrier mix, likes action and is reactive to other dogs while on a lead and Paul handled him well. Paul also sent pictures and videos often which made me smile and I've already sounded to friends and dog park acquaintances that this is where they should entrust their dog.

Thank you Paul. Andy and I look forward to seeing you and Gia again soon.
