Hi! My name is Emily and I am a 29 year old from Washington,DC. I've been in LA since 2014. I was a full time dog walker and pet sitter in Boston for a year and have been full time for 6 years in LA. I like to jog with the dogs when weather permits and like to take dogs out to parks and the beach when I can! I have had 3 dogs in my life, my dachshund Charlie just passed away at age 10 right before Thanksgiving, and I miss him a lot. I am happy to take care of any plants, mail, etc that may need to be taken care of. I love dogs of all sizes and am good with active or lazy animals. Take a look at my pictures and reviews for more! I've had animals my whole life including dogs, lizards, snakes, rodents, etc and started out doing house and pet sitting for friends and family. When I moved to college I missed having an animal and starting doing pet sitting in the Boston area. In September of 2010 I started doing dog walking in addition to overnights and for about a year after graduation I was a full time dog walker and pet sitter. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, rodents, reptiles, fresh and salt water fish, amphibians and even arachnids! I have experience giving pills as well as eye drops to pets of different sizes in the case your pet has those needs. Why I love dog sitting I got my first dog in elementary school and have loved them since I can remember. Big or small, I love to pet and play with all kinds of dogs. Being able to take care of so many great dogs over the last few years has been amazing. I was part of an amazing dog walking company and getting to know the pack as a group was really wonderful. My experience administering medication It depends on the demeanor of the animal, for the most part, pills, tick medications, eye drops and basic things are okay. I would need to be shown how to do injections to be comfortable with it
