I'm responsible, organized, and love animals. I've grown up with dogs and have a happy home with my pug. I've watched puppies to senior dogs. In addition to walking and feeding, I have experience with training, administering medication, vitamins, making home-made food and treats for dogs, and giving them belly rubs and cuddles. I am happy to take care of all of your pet's needs.

Val was so great with my little dog, Simba! He’s a nervous dog and he was immediately comfortable with her. She took the time to ease in and get to know him, took him to the park, and took such good care of him. He usually doesn’t eat when he’s around new people, but he ate all his food while in her care! She sent me lots of photos and updates, which I appreciated so much. He got along really well with her super cute dog too! I’ll definitely book Val again in a heartbeat. She’s awesome! A typical day
The pets that stay in our Fort Greene dog house like to take their daily morning walk with me to get coffee @ Hungry Ghost. For their afternoon + night walks, we spend time in the park with playtime in the grass. Ball time? Off-leash? Only leash? I can help with all requests to make their stay with us safe and fun. If your dog likes time to relax, we also have a very comfortable couch to lounge on and watch documentaries, mysteries, or the nature channel :) For home visits for cats - if you are within a short walking distance to my home in Fort Greene, I can drop by and feed your cats, refresh water, and give your cats some companion time if you are away.

Availability
If you need to travel, my apartment will provide your dog with not only a human companion but a new pug friend too. I live near the park for short or long walks. My apartment is very pet friendly - dogs can be on the furniture, I have extra toys, pet bowls, pet beds, and pet stairs for furniture. If you'd like me to work on any training while you are away, I am happy to continue that work. For cats, I have done many home visits to cats in the Fort Greene area - making sure the cats have fresh water, cleaning out the litter box, and feeding both dry and wet food. Please let me know if you need help with home visits. I am patient and warm for cats that also may hide in their favorite home spots - I will make sure they are safe and ok!
