About Val

11 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
My name is a Valerie and I live with my 11 year old pug Bean.

If you need to travel, my apartment will provide your dog with not only a human companion but a new pup friend too. Bean is a senior dog, but energetic and will play with his new friend and then will nap, hard.

I can only dog sit another small dog (30 lbs. or less). Also, I will only ever watch one dog with Bean at a time, so your pup will receive a great deal of my attention.

I take Bean for walks to Fort Greene park and we also enjoy playtime in the apartment. Whatever needs your dog has - happy to help support so you are comfortable while you are away. I can also send photos via text or email updates as often as you like! I have used DogVacay as a customer and have had some delightful hosts and want to provide the same service back. Personally, I have experience petsitting and have grown up with and watched many breeds - chihuahuas, pitbulls, chinese crested, malteses, cocker spaniels, poodles, frenchies, retrievers, and many many other breeds!

If your dog gets along with other dogs, Bean is a good companion as he has many other dog friends. When he is on his leash for the first meeting, he gets overexcited and wants to play and may do a pug cry. First meetings are great at the park and all crying disappears like magic. I will make sure they get the exercise and attention they both need together during your dog's stay! All you need to bring is your dog and food - I have toys, water bowls, food bowls, and a dog bed available for your pup. Or, feel free to bring anything you like that will make your pet more comfortable - your pet is my priority. Please contact if you have any questions and we can set up a call or meet. Thanks!
