Pet care experience
Hi, furry monster pawrents! I'm a UCLA and UCSF educated genetic counselor (not for puppies like many people guess when they meet me and see me waving at random dogs, but for humans with cancer history) and I've decided to take a break from that to pursue other ventures - including taking of your dogs! Thus, when your dog stays with me, it will have my undivided attention, as I am literally the person in those millennial pet parent memes - I have an abundant amount of time, resources and energy to spoil dogs (to give you an example...just recently, I spent a lot of time searching for the best dog barkery for my dog's birthday). Speaking of my dog, I will update my schedule with blocks to reflect when my family dog is visiting, as I want to be able to fully focus on your dog(s)!

Since I have a vast amount of experience taking care of dogs, I am very careful to make sure their environment is free from anything that poses a danger to them. I am also always making sure they are feeling comfortable and secure - whether that is making to refill there water bowl with fresh water every couple hours or constructing a mountain blanket for them to cozy up in! You can be reassured that I will take care of your dog like it is my own :) TL;DR: I am naturally highly empathetic towards dogs and so I am very in tune with their needs and I make sure that any dog I am taking care of is feeling comfortable, secure and happy!

I would like to know as much as possible about your dog beforehand (pawsonality, preferences, triggers, favorite activities) as I think of dogs as little babies who I strive to keep as safe and happy as pawsible when they are in my care!
A typical day
When I spend the day with my family dog, we spend time in the park next to my house or go for walks on the many trails near my house (sometimes I take her in the dog stroller as she is getting older - shout out to senior dogs :), we take beach trips, we take lots of naps (I literally have five dog beds in my house...for a dog that doesn't live with me...hey, naps are impawtant!), I give her scritches every time she demands them, we like to go for car rides around Irvine so we can feel the wind and sun in our faces and live our best Cali girls life, and last, but most important, we try to find yummy dog treats around town! You can expect the same for your dog, and I can adjust up or down depending on their activity level!

I feel like I was born being obsessed with dogs (and animals in general)! I've helped take of my family dog, Lady, for the past 12 years. Beyond that, I am always volunteering to take care of my friends' pets! I befriend every dog I meet very quickly (love at first woof, as I like to say), and I am very comfortable around dogs of all breeds and ages. I have experience dog-sitting at my home and others' homes, walking dogs, feeding dogs, bathing dogs and taking care of multiple dogs as well!
