I am a first year veterinary student at UPenn Veterinary School for the class of 2020! Prior to this, I have worked as a veterinary technician for several years in Boston, and have over 4 years experience working in animal hospitals. I have loved animals since before I can remember, and have lifelong experience pet sitting for everything from dogs and cats to reptiles, birds and rodents, so please feel free to contact me for other animals besides dogs. As a student, I am home often with plenty of time for play, walks, cuddles, and love! Your dog will be treated as a member of our family. However, in case of emergency, I am experienced in veterinary care and would be available to take your pet to the hospital if necessary. I am also happy to give your dog a nail trim, ear cleaning, or bath, free of charge.
I have my own dog, Muffin, who loves making new friends! She is very playful, but is also happy to relax or go with the flow of what your dogs need. She gets along with everyone - dogs of all ages and sizes, and humans alike! Your dog is welcome to relax and sleep, play with Muffin, or do their own thing! The apartment and yard are both large enough that all dogs have plenty of space to themselves.
When your dog stays with me, they will be able to go out and play inside or in our back yard. The space is private and is completely fenced and secured. I also will be leash walking them as needed to make sure they get all the exercise they need out and about around the neighborhood or nearby parks and trails! Your dog will have the freedom to do whatever they'd like! Whether that's sleeping on the couch, playing with Muffin, running in the yard, or playing fetch and other games with the many toys we have around the house, we're sure that your dog will have a wonderful time staying with us!
For the health and safety of your dogs and mine, I require that your dogs be up to date on rabies, distemper, and bordatella vaccines. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
