-I've been dog sitting for over 3 years. I sit for various breeds and pets for weekends, days at a time, weeks at a time, or just AM and/or PM feedings/play time/walks.
-I work for a research firm in Midtown Manhattan typically from 8am-6pm.
-Additionally, I'm a professional runner and exercise a ton, so always happy to take your dog for a run (at any pace) if he/she is into running!
More Vacay Info:
-A dog that requires 24/7 supervision (Mon-Fri) is really not feasible for me since I work during the day.
-I don't leave a dog home alone for more than 8-9 hours. If your dog needs mid day check in during the week I can definitely accommodate that.
-Tell me about, or provide, whatever treats your pet likes, I always have some dog treats on hand but we want to know your dog's favorite.
-Feel free to bring toys or blankets. I don't have toys but have plenty of towels and blankets for your pet to use.
-If you prefer me to sit at your house, I will be more than happy to stay at your place. I encourage this for recently adopted pets, young pets, any pet that is just more comfortable in their own home, or for a pet that would require you to bring lots of supplies or equipment.
About my home:
-I live on the Williamsburg waterfront in a 650sqft studio.
-The apartment is puppy proof as it is minimally decorated and I never mind if a pet jumps up to join me on the bed or couch. Your pet is allowed anywhere in my apartment!
-There is a very large grassy outdoor area near the waterfront for walking, sitting, laying, running, and/or playing.
-I am also close to McCarren park. TONS of space/places to walk.
-The apartment building is very dog friendly.
