I've provided dog/cat sitting/walking/feeding for friends who have gone on vacations or needed assistance before. I also had many dogs, cats, birds, fishes of my own. I love all animals of all sizes and ages. My only objection is when it comes to exotic animals such as tigers, snakes, scorpions etc. I strongly believe that these animals do not belong in a house but in the nature and that is why I wouldn’t be a pet sitter under these terms. I have a Bachelor in Communication Studies (Also in I.T Technology). I have a flexible schedule to help those families in need. I provide pet sitting in your home. I would love to take care of pets. I enjoy walking and providing company to dogs.
I have years of experience of taking care of animals and it is very important to mention that as a pet sitter you have a huge responsibility. Critical Thinking skills have to be excellent in order to be fast and act accordingly to any problem that might arise during the sitting. My last friend had one Doberman and one pit bull and the Doberman became my best friend. I am used to large dogs, as well as any size. I have respect for animals and I am treating them with kindness. If I see someone that is abusing their pet then I wouldn’t be the right person to be assigned as their pet sitter.
As in any profession in life there are always more things to learn and I am a fast learner, if I do not know something I will do extensive research and learn myself or get advice from the right person. I know how to handle animals even when they get anxious and antsy or aggressive. Communication Skills (I am referring to the science of Communication Studies) do not actually work with animals for obvious reasons. But they definitely work with the customers and I personally have exceptional customer service and communication skills and that being written I am always following the directions of the clients since it is their pet that I would be taken care off.
All references from my clients are available upon request (Residential Managers, Clients, Colleges and Faculty Staff Members)
Thank you in advance!
