My name is Katie. I grew up in Massachusetts and was raised in a household full of a variety of animals and many, many dogs. I also worked for a pet-sitting company based in my hometown called "The Life of Riley Petcare" and worked there for approximately 1-year. My job responsibilities included providing in-home care for various animals, such as dogs, cats, and even farm animals. I also brought the dogs on walks around their neighborhoods. I am currently a nursing student at Touro University. I moved to Nevada in 2012 to continue attending school. I live in a house full of dogs and children in Henderson, so it's definitely not a boring place to be! I have my own dog, Zelda, who is the light of my life. She is a little 11-pound Italian Greyhound who absolutely adores people and other dogs. She is super playful and friendly. I like to bring Zelda to the dog park when I can as she is a social butterfly. I previously offered in-home boarding services through Rover for approximately 1-year, but since I have moved, I can no longer provide that service. During that time, I had an awesome time welcoming new dogs into my apartment, and Zelda loved having playmates. I am also more than comfortable watching cats as well! I would feed, replenish water and play with your feline friend(s) if they enjoy play time. I am also comfortable caring for other animals such as fish, birds, turtles, frogs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, etc. Sorry, no snakes though!
